It has been lovely to see some Spring sunshine this week and classes have enjoyed being outside in the warmer weather for outdoor learning.
Many thanks to our families who joined us today for the Primary 2/3 assembly. All week the class have been learning their drama scripts, Scots language and facts about Scotland in the past. I was very proud of the performance they delivered. Many thanks to Miss Denholm and Mrs Baird for all the hard work that went into resourcing props and rehearsing. It was a braw assembly!
Lots of positives to celebrate this week, including Primary 1 being the first class to win the raffle ticket challenge two weeks in a row! This week our focus was on kindness.

Values Raffle Ticket Winners: Primary 1 had the most raffle tickets last week and received their extra break this week.
Milkshake Monday – Well done to those who received Lead Learner last week, it was lovely to see you all for Milkshakes and snacks today (Milkshake Friday) Thank you for your patience this week, you all demonstrated our value of respect when you kindly waited for your Milkshake treats so that P2/3 could use the hall for rehearsals on Monday. Very proud of you all! Well done t0 David, Minahil, Emily, Amelia, Ben, Junior, Cade, Olivia and Harley.
Any learners who miss Milkshake Monday due to absence or school events are welcomed to attend the following weeks celebrations.
Myself and staff are very much looking forward to welcoming families next week for Parent Consultations. During this event, the Scholastics Book Fair will be available for purchasing books and some stationary items. A percentage of sales made goes to school for purchasing new school library books. On Monday we will send out a price list for families if they wish to make a purchase.
Have a lovely weekend, hopefully the nice weather continues.
