Be Your Best

Primary 6/7 – Friday 20th March

Primary 6/7 have had a great week with lots of wonderful learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):

  • Our Primary 7s really enjoyed their trip to The Risk Factory and learning about health and safety in lots of situations and scenarios. The Primary 7 pupils showed excellent understanding of the dangers and concerns in some situations and how to react and respond
  • Our Primary 6 children enjoyed taking part in the very tricky Euro Quiz event as they represented Seafield Primary School. Some questions in the quiz were really tricky but the children came up with some great answers
  • We all really enjoyed creating PowerPoints as we continued to work on our World War II research topics
  • We enjoyed our music session run by visitors in our school on Thursday afternoon as we learned how to create relaxing and calming sounds
  • We enjoyed flipping our learning and teaching Mrs Robertson about data handling in Maths

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • The Primary 7s found their Maths transition lesson based on algebra and equations quite tricky this week

Our school value award winners for this week are Faith and Che. Congratulations!

Well done P6/7 for a fantastic week in school. Have a lovely weekend.
