This week has been a very busy week! The children all looked amazing in school on Monday, dressed in clothes that demonstrate their cultures, preferences and identities. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the children, including clubs they attend, favourite colours and cultures they celebrate.
I would like to thank our families for supporting your young people to learn their Scottish poems. The performances were super and teachers struggled to select only three pupils to perform at assembly. Those chosen did an amazing job today, showing resilience and ambition throughout. Well done!
As part of our school improvement plan this year, we are reviewing our positive relationships approaches in school and I look forward to working with the first parent focus group on Monday to gather parent/carer views. If you are free on Monday and would like to join, details can be found below.
This week, I have heard P3/4 rehearsing their assembly for next week. I can’t wait to hear them on the day!
Have a lovely weekend everyone
