We have had a very busy week this week practicing for our Boogie Woogie Nativity. The children have been learning when to say their lines and looking at adding in expression and some dance moves! Not long now until we have an audience!

Tickled Pink –

• We really enjoyed having our classroom decorated and having some Christmas Books to enjoy this week, the wooden nativity set has been very popular and we continue to enjoy learning about the true meaning of Christmas.
• We have really enjoyed our STEM advent calendar with daily science questions and activities to investigate.
• We really enjoyed our lessons learning about our senses and the practical investigative sessions, we were able to use our senses as we described what was in a feely bag, tried to decide what smells were inside a range of test tubes and developed our vocabulary as considered which adjectives would best describe what we were experiencing.
• We enjoyed working with patterns and sequences this week.

Green for Growth

• We were working with larger collections of coins this week which was a bit tricky for some of us and also adding up totals when buying up to 3 items.
• It was a hard remembering to either use a p or a £ depending on how much money we were dealing with.

 

We have had a great week and are looking forward to performing for you all next Wednesday and Thursday.
