Seafield Snippets Friday 14th November 2025

The week has been a busy one.  It was lovely to see everyone photo ready on Monday for the arrival of Tempest photography! Our Primary 5/6 and 6/7 pupils took part in a remembrance service led by Mrs Boyd, our school chaplain and our Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils have been busy choosing parts for the upcoming Nativity performance. We are looking forward to sharing this news with you soon.

This week, I would like to thank our Junior Road Safety Officers, who have prepared something to share in our Seafield Snippets this week:

From 16th-22nd of November Seafield Primary School will be promoting and championing Road Safety. We have asked for donations from local businesses as part of a competition. We will be holding two competitions in the school. The Primary 1-3 children can take part in a colouring competition and Primary 4-7 have been asked to make a poster about Road Safety. The closing date will be Friday 21st November. Look out for other Road Safety work happening in the classes next week!

Throughout this week, the children have been learning about Anti-Bullying week, all classes have taken part in individual lessons. I was very pleased to hear from P2/3 who were able to explain the impact of unkind words and I look forward to P3/4 sharing their posters around school from next week. This links nicely into our Rights Respecting work as a school. On Friday we look forward to our Rights Respecting Group sharing activities and information with us.

Key dates for next week:

  • Monday 17th: Book Week Scotland and Road Safety Week (events taking place in school)
  • Wednesday 19th: Book gifting event for P1-3 pupils @2.30pm in school, parents/carers are welcome to attend and share a book with your child(ren)
  • Friday 21st: Rights Respecting Group will lead a Rights Day

Coming Up:

  • Please check emails early next week as we will share information linked to Christmas Events
  • Wednesday 26th: Sharing Our Learning Event (2:30pm) (6pm)

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Mrs Page
