The last week of term has been another busy one! We’ve taken part in a Harvest assembly with Mrs Boyd, our school chaplain; enjoyed P6/7 class assembly and had our first Achievement Assembly of the year so have spent lots of time together as a school community which has been lovely! P5/6 and P6/7 had Mrs Boyd visit their classrooms and start to prepare their involvement in the Remembrance Day service which takes place in November. P6 took part in Xcite Learn to Swim assessments as well.
Thank you to those parents/carers who made appointments and came along to meet with teachers this week to hear all about progress in learning. It was lovely to hear a positive buzz around the building.
As you will know, the school is now closed to pupils until Tuesday 28th October 2025. The staff team look forward to welcoming them back refreshed and ready to work hard in Term 2.
The ELC (nursery) remains open to children next week. If your child is not attending, please contact the nursery to let them know. Please don’t send a groupcall text or email as these facilities are not available when the school office is closed.
