We have had a wonderful first week back to school!

Tickled Pink:

• We have started our Scottish focus for this month and in art we looked at tartan patterns. We learned that tartan is made from vertical and horizontal lines and is a repeated pattern sequence. We tried out our new line techniques and created our own Scottish tartan!
• We have been learning all about Scottish animals and we drew our chosen animal and then stuck it on top of our tartan to create a fantastically Scottish picture. We are so proud of these that we have decided to put them on the wall outside our classroom door for everyone to see.
• In HWB this week we wrote all about our wonderful memories from 2024 and made some new year resolutions that we would like to work on for 2025.

Green for Growth:

• We have started to look at our times-tables in numeracy and are finding it a little tricky but we are excited to work hard next week to get better at them.

The lead learners this week are Murren for being respectful and Harriet for being kind.
