We have had a fantastic first week back at school! We have loved sharing stories about our Christmas holidays and playing with our friends again.

Tickled Pink

• We have been learning about the months of the year as we have moved into 2025. The children are great at singing the months of the year song and we made our own class calendar.
• We have been practising the alphabet and putting the letters in order.
• We have started learning about ‘The Zones of Regulation’ which is all about how we understand and manage our emotions – we have linked this to the film ‘Inside Out’ and the children loved colouring in the characters linked to the four zones.

Green for Growth

• Some of the children have forgotten some of the numbers we were learning before the holidays so we are going over them.

 

Our Lead Learners next week are Lucy and Junior.
