Tickled Pink:

  • In our Outdoor Learning session this week, we recycled some cardboard boxes to create Santa’s sleigh. We even had our Santa supplied by Henry and we pretended to be reindeers and elves to pull the sleigh.
  • During Maths, some of us have been focusing on subtraction with exchanging. We have been working well and have been using the strategies that we have previously used to help us to work on these sums.
  • We are entering a writing competition and this week started on our magical map essays. We only are allowed to use 100 words which we found a bit difficult but we are excited to see if any of us win!
  • We enjoyed watching the P1-3 Nativity dress rehearsal this week. Lots of have siblings in these classes so we were excited to see them perform so well!
  • We loved our handball tournament this week and can’t wait to hear the results about who won!

Green for Growth:

  • We were working on money this week, we had lots of questions on decimal notation and how to work out money word problems. We will keep working on this.

Our lead learners this week are Adam and Emma Jo.
