Tickled Pink:

• The children loved the ‘Sharing Our Learning’ event, showing their grown ups all of their super work!
• For topic this week we were focusing on Dentists and how we can look after our teeth. The children decided which foods and drinks were good or bad for our teeth and spoke about how we need to brush our teeth twice a day! The children enjoyed some role play – making an appointment at the dentist and having a check up.
• For writing this week we were learning about describing words and came up with some super sentences about our class owl Fluffy.

 

Green for Growth:

• In Maths, we were doing some more addition with missing numbers, some of the children found this tricky so we will continue to look at this with the help of counters.
• Some children were finding it a bit tricky to sound out words they needed to write – we will continue to practice blending.
