Tickled Pink:

  • We started our Mini Hubs this week and were sorted into either right’s respecting, numeracy, literacy, digital, health and wellbeing, and 1+2 languages groups. Some children in our class were lucky enough to become mini champs, vice champs and librarian’s for these groups.
  • We had a much better week in P.E. and were learning how to keep control of the basketball when dribbling and shooting.
  • During Art, we linked our artwork to our topic of climate change to show the effects of global warming. We look forward to everyone these at the parent consolations next week.
  • In outdoor learning, we went on a 3D shape hunt where we tried to find different 3D shapes in the world around us.
  • We enjoyed creating 3D shapes out of toothpicks and blue tack during maths.

Green for Growth:

  • For writing, we researched a famous person, wrote down facts and then wrote a descriptive essay about them. For some of us, we struggled to write down enough relevant facts before we did the writing on the next day meaning that some of our writing time was lost to looking up more facts.
  • We created 3D nets this week, we found drawing them out correctly a little difficult.

Our lead learners are Ella and Henry.
