Tickled Pink

  • For science, we wrote our own songs about what we have learned. We changed the words to a nursery rhyme to include words about magnets, magnetic force, push, pull, friction and gravity. We performed to P2/3.
  • We have been doing rich tasks in maths that involve problem solving, team work and resilience. This week we did one about rounding numbers and another one about finding patterns with odd and even numbers.
  • We enjoyed PE with Mrs Robertson because we got to use a basketball hoop in the hall and practise our skills.

Green for Growth

  • Naming 3D shapes was tricky in maths, we forgot a lot of the names from last year.
  • P4s found writing a character description hard in writing because Miss Halliday wanted at least 10 adjectives!
  • In RME we have been learning about the 5 Pillars of Islam but we kept getting the Arabic words mixed up.

Lead Learners this week are Chloe and Rosa.
