Tickled Pink:

  • We wrote a descriptive essay about a haunted house during writing. We used lots of interesting adjectives and vocabulary. Some people forgot it wasn’t to be a narrative story however, everyone worked hard and produced good writing.
  • We started addition in numeracy this week. We were focusing hard on our tasks and learning some new strategies even if we found them a little difficult, we were resilient.
  • On Wednesday, we had a visitor from Veolia waste management who described the process of what happens when you flush your toilet. We also learnt about recycling and how to run a business. We had a blast!

Green for Growth

  • During P.E., unfortunately, some of our class didn’t listen and weren’t respectful to the teacher or the equipment. That meant we had to come back to class early and reflect on our actions. Hopefully, we can all do better next week.
  • We joined in to a few live lessons this week on climate change as part of Climate Action Week. At the start of the week, we struggled with paying attention and taking down notes however, the majority of the class did manage to take down notes and listen more.

Our lead learners are Emma Jo and Noel.
