Be Your Best

Primary 6/7 – 6th September 2024

Primary 6/7 have had a great week with lots of exciting learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning:

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):

  • We enjoyed our PE handball session and progressing into game-play and we tried hard to involve everyone in our team during the games
  • We enjoyed our Maths angle assessment and demonstrating our knowledge and understanding of angles
  • We really enjoyed our session with our P1 buddies and working hard to create our Three Little Pigs puppets and retelling the story
  • We enjoyed creating our religious education PowerPoints

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • Some of us felt that our task with our P1 buddies was a little rushed
  • Some of us felt that our writing task was a bit tricky as we were challenged to describe settings using pictures of quite different places
  • Some of us feel that our up-levelling of vocabulary was a bit difficult

Our lead learners for this week were Julia, Jake, Che and Brodie and they set the following class targets for the week; don’t swing on chairs, don’t lose classroom equipment and don’t talk back to the teachers. We will continue with these targets next week as they were only created and presented to the class on Wednesday. Well done for a fantastic week, P6/7.
