Be Your Best

P2/3 – 6th of September

This week Primary 2/3 have worked really hard learning about place value in numeracy and have enjoyed reading Fantastic Mr Fox!

Tickled Pink

  • In outdoor learning this week we carried out an experiment involving leaf rubbing! We really enjoyed this and we discovered that we need a flat surface for the leaf rubbing to work best. We are going to try this again next week using what we have found out and see if it works better.
  • This week we wrote descriptions of Mr Fox and did some free writing explaining what we liked best about the book.
  • Everyone has worked very hard in our numeracy, learning about place value. We can split 2 and 3 digit numbers up into their hundreds, tens and ones.

Green for Growth

  • Next week we are going to test out our leaf rubbing experiment again.
  • We are going to work on looking after our belongings in the classroom and keeping our snack safe.

Our lead learners this week are:

Lucas Y and Lucas M for being responsible and always helping in the classroom when it is needed!

Our lead learners are looking for:

  • People being helpful in the classroom.
  • People listening to instructions.
  • People looking after each others belongs.
