Be Your Best

We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1/2.

Tickled Pink

  • Exploring the musical instruments was great fun – the children enjoyed playing their instrument on the beat.
  • The children were really excited to do money again in maths – we were singing ‘Money, money, money’ and then collecting coins and identifying them before ordering the coins from smallest value to biggest.
  • In PE we were practising different skills including balancing, catching, throwing and dribbling. The children done really well with this.

Green for Growth

  • In maths we have started learning about skip counting in 2s and the link to the 2 timestable. Some children are finding it a bit tricky but they are all loving our counting by 2s song that we listen to each day.
  • We were revising tally marks and bar graphs today and some children found it a bit difficult to take the information and create the bar graph.

Lead Learners are Lucas M and Daisy R, well done!

Have a great long weekend!

Mrs Wallace
