Literacy
Our trip today is a dive inside the Giant Ocean Tank at the New England Aquarium in Boston.
I hope you all travelled safely and have remembered to pack your wet suits. I hope you enjoy it.
While we are here you might want to go meet and learn about some of the other sea life.

Look at the range of empty bottles you have collected. You might have shampoo bottles, empty drinks bottles, food colouring bottles, hopefully you have different sizes. Remember we measure liquids in millilitres (ml) and litres. 1 thousand millilitres (ml) = 1 litre Look at the labels and investigate the volume ( that means how much it holds) Order you bottles according to the amount of water they will hold starting with smallest and largest. Investigate how many of 1 bottle it will take to fill a larger one? Or use a 5 ml medicine spoon and see how many spoons it takes to fill different bottles? Take pictures or record in your jotter.
