Good morning I hope you have all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sunny weather.

Literacy

Spelling – ‘er‘ words

her, herd, fern,

herb, perm, river, letter,

sister, summer, never, number

Choose 4 of the words to carry out spelling activities and write sentences.

Look out for any ‘er’ words in your reading book.

Maths

Practice measuring in cm.

If you have a ruler or tape measure at home find 5 items around your house to measure.

Measure Hunt- try to find 2 items that you think might be 12 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm. Check with a ruler- did you estimate correctly?

Science

Identify different animals, plants or insects, match animals to their young and think about different habitats.
