P7 Camp- Wednesday

Primary 7 from Riverside and Letham travelled to PGL, Dalguise. We landed and lugged our luggage up the hill to our dorms before having our lunch in the beautiful Perthshire sunshine. We then joined our mixed groups with Harrysmuir, Toronto, Livingston Village and Peel before taking part in a variety of activities.

We then enjoyed our communal dinner in the canteen before finishing the evening with a disco!

P6 Buddy Training Day

Our Primary Six pupils have been busy this week training to become buddies for the new Primary One children starting after the summer holidays. They’re learning how to be kind, responsible and supportive, helping our youngest pupils feel like they belong and feel safe in both of our schools. We’re proud of their enthusiasm and know they’ll make great role models.

Farewell to The Queen Of Craigshill!

As we say goodbye to Mrs. Mullen, we want to express our deepest gratitude for everything she has done for our school community. Known fondly as the Queen of Craigshill, her retirement has been celebrated in true royal fashion—with not just one event, but a season of appreciation!

For the past five years, Mrs. Mullen has been a guiding light at Riverside and Letham PS, greeting children every morning with warmth and making everyone feel welcome and valued. She embodies our Craigshill Schools values—belonging, kindness, respect, and creativity.

Whether solving challenges with grace, spreading joy through her infectious energy, or ensuring everything runs smoothly, she has been an irreplaceable part of our team. Her dedication, positivity, and unwavering support for both staff and students will leave a lasting legacy.

Although we will miss her dearly, we know this is not goodbye—just see you soon.

Thank you, Mrs. Mullen, for being the heart of our school. You will always have a special place in our Craigshill family.

Craigshill Living Museum

Both schools hosted their living museums this week, showcasing all their hard work with their ancient history topics! Parents had a chance to try out a range of different activities from Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, The Mayans, The Celts and more!

We are all extremely proud of their amazing work and they fantastically demonstrated how much they enjoyed this topic!

Craigshill LOVES to Read!

At Craigshill Primary Schools, we know how important reading is and had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day! We dressed up as our favourite book characters, made book character puppets, wrote and illustrated our own stories and participated in some fun book related quizzes. We can’t wait to get a book with our World Book Day token.
