Busy P5/4!

Hi everyone! Another week passes in P5/4 and what a week!

We have been practising like mad for our Burns Assembly which was held this morning. It was a great success and we had great fun learning our songs. Thanks to everyone who made it along – it really is appreciated!

The Primary 5’s began their Futsal sessions this week and had great fun learning the rules of this very skillful football game. This will continue right up until Easter and we are confident that our skills and teamwork will improve.

We will begin our class topic on the Victorians this week and will be set some homework challenges so watch this space!

Hope you all have a terrific weekend and see you all next week!

This week in P5/4

* Made our own Christmas Crackers

* Finally finished & delivered all of the remaining Christmas Baubles!

* Our Christmas Party was held on Thursday afternoon and we had a great time dancing, singing and playing party games.

We are looking forward to our DVD and Church visit next week but from us all in P5/4, we hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Primary 5’s trip to the Battle of Bannockburn centre.

Primary 5 had a great trip to the Battle of Bannockburn centre on 4/12/14. The children had lots of opportunities for active learning, taking part in battles, training to be a Scottish soldier in Robert the Bruce’s army and dressing up in battle clothes from 1314! The interactive 3D experience was fantastic and the children faced each other as opposing armies, in a rerun of the Battle of Bannockburn. They relayed their battle strategies to the Battlemaster who then moved the troops accordingly. You’ll be glad to know that the Scots won again!
