We have been learning:
- to play handball
- to write in our Reading Record
- to draw the people who help us in school
NOTE:
P4’s assembly will be on Thursday 20th November at 2.20pm. We hope you can join us.
Another busy week goes by in P5/4. Can we say a huge thanks to all the parents and carers who came to parents evening last night – it was great to see you all!
This week has been another busy one and we only have one week left before the October Holidays! This week we have:
* Learned about speech marks and speech bubbles.
* Learning how to work in groups and co-operate with each other.
* Continued to work on our writing skills.
* We learned what happens when we add -er & -est to a word.
The boys and girls have a handball tournament coming up on Monday 3rd November and we will be issuing a letter with full details very soon.
Hope everyone has a smashing weekend – this is P5/4 signing off!
Hello again from P5/4!
This week we have:
* We did some leaf artwork
* We continued with our topic on Great Britain. We looked at a map of Britain and added the major cities to our own maps. We also learned about the British Flag – the Union Jack!
* We put up our Class Charter
* We did some dictionary work which was quite hard!
* We have also been doing some numeracy and literacy challenges.
Typed by Steven and Casey of P5/4! See you all next week.
Another busy week in P5/4! This week we have:
* We made a start on our new topic “Britain”. We came up with lots of great ideas about what we want to learn. We filled the board with our amazing ideas!!
* We did a huge chimney sum which was 11 numbers long as a challenge – it was very very difficult!!
* We made our own Bucket as part of the “Fill Your Bucket” challenge. We fill buckets by being kind and considerate to others but you can also dip into and empty buckets if you do something wrong to others.
* For our Class Charter, we made our own people out of sweetie wrappers to show how although we are different, we all have the same rights.
* We did some cursive handwriting during the week too – we will keep practicing!
* The P5’s went to Xcite in Whitburn on Monday to do a swimming assessment and they did very well!
* We also started P.E. this week and we had loads of fun playing some team building games.
* We continued with our French this week too and are getting better at saying our ages!
That’s it again for P5/4 this week. See you next week and have a nice weekend! Au revoir.
