This week we have:
* Had fun in our different Science Masterclasses!
* Celebrated Jack Crawford’s birthday, he even brought in a cake to share with us! Thank you Jack!
* Enjoyed looking at the shields that everyone made for homework.
* Created artwork inspired by Paul Klee’s ‘Castle and Sun’ painting.
*been on a fantastic trip to Stirling Castle! We enjoyed meeting a real-life Lady in Waiting and trying on medieval costumes.
*enjoyed learning about the phases of the moon with Mrs Bruce
*made their faces funny for money! We had a fun-packed Red Nose Day!
This week P2 have been:
* writing an imaginary story about Princess Polly- she even sent us a special letter!
* learning how to play ‘coin bingo’ to help us to learn about money and coins
* learning about jousting and castle entertainment.
The children are excited about their homework challenge- to create a sheild for Norman the Knight. We have already received Farla’s fantatic sheild! Well done!
This week Ava managed to reach the top of our reward chart! Excellent work Ava!
We have been very busy this week making Coats of Armour for knights. Watch this space for some photos later!!
Today we performed a fantastic assembly! The children all did a great job! We have had a busy week rehearsing.
Today the boys and girls enjoyed an extra playtime that they earned last week. We played fun circle games together outside.
On Wednesday we made 3D models of castles.
