We have been learning;

We have been learning the 2 times table, we know the 2 times table is doubles! 🙂 – Elsie

I know a trick to do the 2 times table – use your hands to count in 2s! – Millies

We done pirate fractions – We had to split the treasure up to 2 different pirates making sure they both got half of the treasure – Amber

We watched the nursery assembly today – Eve

We have been learning about toys, we learned that teddy bears are over 100 years old and come from the 1900s – Kenzie

We have still been making sure we are eating healthy and bringing a healthy snack – Robbie

We were making road safety posters – Millie

We had a homework challenge to design a bench – Amber

We were revising i, l and t in handwriting – Leah

We were sharing out the treasure for the pirates and learning about halfs but we also learned that we were sharing out the treasure which was the same as dividing by 2! 🙂 – Elsie, Courtney and Amber

We were doing Go Noodle inside as it was too cold for outside gym this week – Cameron

We were working in groups to design a toy shop – Hali and Kirsty

We were thinking of new group names for our tables – McKenzzi

We are now called The Marbles, The Toy Soldiers, The Cars and The Dolls.

We learned that squid eat small fish, plankton and shrimp – Cameron

We learned that crabs eat plants and animals – mainly algae – Leyla

We learned that squids have 3 hearts! (Like an octopus) – Hali

We learned that sand is made from fish poop!!! – Brooke

The parrot fish poops out limestone which makes the sand – Jack

We learned that jellyfish eat fish eggs, fish, shrimps and small ocean plants. – McKenzii

We learned that sea turtles lay eggs and the baby turtles hatch out of the eggs – Kirsty

We learned that the baby sea turtle is called a Hatchling – Kirsty

then the turtle grows into a juvenille – Jack

We learned that fish breath by using their gills – William

This week we have already been busy back at work!
