The children have all arrived safely at camp and have been unpacking their bags. Keep checking the blog for updates.

– Primary 2 have been rehearsing the songs for the nativity. Anton’s favourite is Donkey Plodding and Jack really likes Wriggly Nativity. They are looking forward to performing these during Wednesday’s performance.
We designed a class advent calendar.
We had a great visit to the library with P2/1. We looked at books and listened to stories.
We have been counting the sides of different types of 2D and 3D objects.
After a busy week in P3/2 we have been:
• developing our skills in addition, subtraction and division within numeracy as well as sorting number, shapes and items using Venn and Carroll diagrams.
• working on alphabetical order
• counting in French and learning the days of the week for our class calendar
• decorating our classroom door to the theme of Peter Pan for Scottish Book Week. We worked in groups to sketch, colour and paint the main characters and setting for our Neverland scene. Pictures to follow!
• learning all about weather for our new topic. We can describe the processes involved in the water cycle.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to our classroom today. We enjoyed showing you what we have been learning so far in P2.
