We have been:

• writing a story about a toy museum
• practicing our secret dance (again)
• counting forward and backwards with numbers up to 20 or 100

Next week we are looking forward to making something to go in the time capsule.

We have been learning:

• some Judo skills
• to read and spell words using the phoneme ‘y’
• a secret dance

We have been:

• practising our assembly
• taking away numbers up to 20 in maths
• looking at old toys a lady brought in for us to see
• learning about fair trade in our vertical groups.

We have been:

• learning to answer questions about something we have read
• looking at words with the sound ‘ay’ in them
• climbing in PE.

Phew! What a busy week.

• solve problems using numbers
• paint and evaluate our models.

We were learning:

• to use doubles
• to design and make a model toy
• to climb on the wall bars

We made mice for the Christmas fair

We swapped books with P3A.

We all enjoyed our super assembly!

We used a bingo game to learn tricky words.

We were learning about tens and units.

And, we learned about the names of the planets.

We wrote thank you letters as Barnaby Bear.

We have been learning how to join letters.
