What have we been learning?

Callan – We have been reading our books and answering questions on the worksheet

Jack – we were learning numbers to 20

Aleisha – we have been adding and taking away

Payton – we did the mild,spicy and hot challenge with time this week

Sean – we were learning half past and o’clock

Callan – we were writing about The Accident

Mrs Mclay – We were drawing people who help in the school. Sara drew me very nicely.

The skill this week was UNDERSTANDING

Skillionaires  were  – Brogan -” I can answer questions about me book”

Adam – “I know the difference between 6 and 4 is 2.”

What have we been learning?

Freya – We have been learning to write stories about a fireman.

Aleisha – we have changed the house corner into The Health Centre Sean – so we can pretend to be Doctor and patients

Brogan – we decided what we wanted to have in the Health Centre

Adam – we have learning about time

Jana – we have been learning ee and oo sounds

Jack – we have learning w and y sounds

Aleisha – we have learning sum and difference

Payton – we have been practising more take away

Warren – we were drawing Fairytale Characters and adding pattern

with Mrs Burton

This weeks Skillionaires were Jana and Bailey . Well done girls.

It’s been a short and quick week.

Due to our reporters being too excited today to report on what they have been learning this week I will just let you see how fabulous we all looked for the Wig Walk today. Even Bonzo wore a wig!

They all agreed they had fun at the masterclasses on Thursday.

What have we been learning?

We have been learning how to tell the times o’clock and half past – Freya

We have been learning subtraction – Jack

I have been learning how to add – Alex

We have been writing about a time we got hurt – Callen S

We have been drawing policemen and women and firemen and paramedics as part of our People who help us – Aleisha

We have been drawing pictures of each other in outdoor clothes in art with Mrs Burton – Brogan

We have been practising how to throw and catch in PE – Sara

We have been learning how to land safely when jumping off the trampoline in PE – Aleisha

We were making shapes as we jumped – Brogan

Everyone has had a good week and is looking forward to their long weekend.

P2A have been very busy this week :

We enjoyed hearing the string instruments on Tuesday afternoon. We heard the double bass, cello and violin.

We also had a special treat watching the Wizard of Oz.

Some of us really liked the wicked witch the best and some of us liked Dorothy and Toto. We ALL enjoyed watching it.

We have been making self portraits with patterned jumpers with Mrs Burton in Art.

We have been revising o’clock in time and we all did well.

We have been doing adding and take away sums.

We have been reading and practising our key words.

To keep fit we have been doing our daily run/walk around the playground. In PE we have been practising skipping, jumping and balancing.

In outdoor PE we were practing throwing bean bags and quoits and also dribbling footballs. We had a competition

in teams.
