Hi all,
Here are some more fabulous photographs of our P6 and P7 pupils enjoying their time at Dalguise. Keep checking for updates throughout the days/ evenings.
Yesterday the children took part in two activities during the day, the tree climb and the trapeze. Mrs Millar sent me a message to say how happy all the children were and that the staff are extremely proud of how well they challenged themselves during the activities. (photographs attached)
Mrs Millar reports that the only person to slip and slide was herself … apparently there is a lovely peachy bruise! (no photograph attached!)

Hi All,
Mrs Millar, Mrs Vince and Mrs Johnston report that the children are having a great time and that they have been kept busy since the moment they arrived. A couple of photographs have been sent to my phone, which I will attach to this post. Sometimes the mobile reception is poor and there can be a delay in these being sent or received successfully. I will continue to update and post photographs as they arrive.
Hope you all enjoy a peaceful evening without your little gems and I’ll keep you posted on how their first evening/ overnight went.

Hi all,
As promised (although late as I couldn’t get my internet connection to work at home last night!!!) here is a link that will take you to the PGL website for Dalguise where you can have another look at the facilities available and take the virtual tour.
http://www.pgl.co.uk/en-gb/school-trips/primary-schools/centres/dalguise
If you scroll down you will see a section called ‘Activities Available’ and you can see a detailed description of activities if you choose from the drop down list.
They all look great fun and I would love to be going….maybe I could be away from my little one after all!!! ; )

Dear Parent/ Carer,
There will be a parent information session on Tuesday 11th October 2016 at 3.30pm. This is an opportunity to hear a little more about this year’s residential activity week and to provide you with relevant information, e.g. suggested clothing lists, timings for buses etc.
It is also a good opportunity to discuss any questions, queries or concerns you may have. We hope you can make it along, however if not information packs will be sent home with pupils if a parent/carer has been unable to attend.

We have a new parent/ carer consultation online booking system in place for you to use to book an appointment with your child’s class teacher to discuss how they have settled into the new session and progress being made.
Your child has been given a printed ‘Parents’ Guide for Booking Appointments’ instruction sheet for you which explains how to access this system. The following link should take you directly to this online booking system:
https://murrayfieldps.parentseveningsystem.co.uk/
Please contact the office if you have any problems accessing this site or are unable to use the online system for any reason. Appointments can still be arranged by contacting the office, where a suitable slot can be booked for you.
P4 – Mrs Stewart and Mrs McGlynn’s pupils
Please note these appointment are not available online at this time as they are taking place on an alternative date. These will be available shortly and we will let you know when these become available to book.
As you will be aware Rookie Rockstars have been working with the whole school over the last week. The children have had a brilliant time and have taken part in several sessions learning songs and about how to be a Rockstar! The children have the opportunity to perform these songs in a concert which will take place on Thursday 22nd September at 6.30pm.
The concert will last for approximately 1 hour and all pupils are welcome to come along and take part in the performance. It is not essential to dress up but pupils are welcome to dress like Rockstars if they wish…no school uniform required!! Your child is required to arrive by 6.00pm in order to get ready for the start of the concert. Doors open at 6.15pm for our audience.
Air guitars at the ready!!! We hope to see you all there….Rock on Murrayfield!
Please note, this event is now sold out and tickets are no longer available to purchase.
Dear Parent/ Carer,
Just a reminder that P7 children who will be attending St. Kentigern’s Academy in August, have their transition days this week. These pupils will be spending Wednesday 15th , Thursday 16th and Friday 17th at St. Kentigern’s Academy with the rest on their S1 peers and will get to experience some aspects of an S1 timetable. We ask that all our pupils wear their school uniform and come to Murrayfield in the morning each day as usual. The pupils will be walked down to St. Kentigern’s Academy in the morning and will be collected again by our staff and brought back to Murrayfield to be released from here. If your child pays for their school meals please ensure that they have money with them in order to buy their lunches.
Regards
