We have been busy this week practising for our Scottish Burns Assembly.

We have learned how to do Strip the Willow dance – which was great fun!

We made fantastic bagpipes as a Homework Challenge.

We started our mini topic about Scotland.

Rachel Ferguson and Ross Howard won a Head Teachers Award for magnificent Scotland covers in our Topic jotters.

We have been learning facts about Robert Burns.

In maths we have been learning TIME and some of us have been adding 2 digit numbers in chimney sums. Some of us have been subtracting from 20 and 30.

In Early Intervention some children have been learning how to spell words that end in double letters. Some have been learning the magic e and some learning words that end in “ing”.
