Scottish Maths Week in P7

The pupils have been taking on schools across the country in the Sumdog competition and tackling mathematical word problems linked to events which have appeared in the UK news.  Next week we are hoping to put together our maths questions with short newspaper articles for the Daily Rigour writing competition.

Ethical Trading

Our new class topic for this term is Ethical trading. This week we focused on understanding the terms, ethical and trade.  We also researched multinational ethical trading companies and how they support communities.  Next week we plan to learn about the fashion industry and companies, which ensure basic human rights are met.

Next week we are looking forward to taking part in masterclasses about Famous Scots.
