Fantastic Flying Forces Workshop presented by the education team from The National Museum of Flight

Today we had a visit from the education team from The National Museum of Flight, in East Lothian. We learnt about the forces, which have an impact on flight and used new vocabulary – gravity, aerodynamics, streamlining, drag and thrust. The class had fun taking part in different experiments.

Afterwards the pupils decided they would love their parents or carers to take them to visit Concorde and the other aircraft at The Museum of Flight.
