Murrayfield Primary School welcomed teaching staff from across Europe as part of the British Council Comenius Project. Primary 7 pupils escorted the visitors around our school on a ‘Learning Walk’. The visitors from Austria, Bulgaria, Italy and Poland were very impressed by all pupils and learned lots about Curriculum for Excellence and the Scottish Education system.
Wish I’d been there to meet your Comenius visitors, you know how I like to chat to folk from other countries. I wonder what their schools are like compared to ours?
Very different, so they said. They thoroughly enjoyed meeting our children and finding out how we learned!
