Dear Parent/Carer,
I hope you had a relaxing Easter break and hope you are looking forward to the long weekend – it looks like we could be spending the weekend enjoying the snow!
I am appealing to all parents/carers who drive their children to school. Over the past week there have been two near miss accidents at the school gate. The first was due to unsafe parking and the second was due to parents/carers using the school car park when collecting children.
As a school we work in partnership with Police Scotland to promote safe and responsible parking, however, we all have a responsibility to ensure that our children are safe. I am appealing to everyone to make sensible decisions when dropping off/collecting children. I would like to remind you that parents/carers should not be using the car park.
