Primary 2/1 – 1.6.20 😁

Good Morning Primary 2/1,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend in the gorgeous sunshine and stayed safe.

It is another start of a new month today.
Can you ask the children about what the date is?
Ask the day?
Ask the date (number)?
Ask the Month?
Sometimes need to prompt to say last month/number. We also normally discuss daily where it comes in the year, for example March is the third month.

Here is your learning grid for today:

P3 Learning Activities

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to your weekend ahead.

Here are our learning activities for today-

Learning-Grid-29th-May-2020 (1)

I hope you enjoy our art activity today. If you can, please send a picture to the school email and it would be great to  see your posters from yesterday.

I hope you are managing with sharing and dividing so far? Mrs Clayton has very kindly created some videos for us to use to help explain Division. She is using them with her class too and has set some work for them so just ignore those bits as we have our own work and instructions. She has done a great job and I hope you find the videos helpful.

Remember to complete your Sum dog challenges as I can see how well you are getting on.

Have a great weekend, stay safe.

Primary 1 – Friday 29th May

Good morning P1,

Another fab week nearly complete with a little bit of added sunshine! Today is the day your project is due, I can’t wait to see them all! If you just email to the school office or upload to you learning journals that would be super! I’m so proud at how engaged so many of you have been already – one proud teacher here!

It’s also music friday’s and I’m sure you will love singing along to some of the songs he plays at the beginning of the video! I reminded me of our show and tell time in class when we would all have a little sing song!

Below is your daily task grid! Have fun, get outside today, it looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day! (p.s. can’t believe it is June on Monday!)

P3/2 – Friday 29th May

Good morning P3/2,

I can hardly believe we are at Friday again already.  This week feels like it went so fast.  Not only is it Friday but we are coming to the end of another month.  What month will it be on Monday when we start our next week of learning?

Below is today’s grid.  We are going to do some focused work on spelling tricky words but which words you are looking at will be different for everyone.  We are also carrying on with our division work and I have another life skill for you to try.

Friday 29th May

Have a wonderful weekend and as the weather is supposed to be even hotter than it has been please remember to drink plenty of water and put on sun cream if you are outside.

P3 Learning Activities

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are having a good week so far? Its is such a lovely day so if you have not had a look at our at home sports day post then today would be a fab day to do so.

Our learning activities continue with our Fry’ s words and reading – logging onto Oxford Owls.

We are then continuing with division and sharing. Today we are focusing on making different array patterns, like we did in class. You will need some objects, counters or cubes to help you.

I have also put up a video for learning across the curriculum, where you are to create a poster displaying the information you learn. This is linked to our Time topic from the last few weeks.
