Its been a fun hectic week with lots of fun learning taking place. At the beginning of the week, it was the culmination of the Ukulele Fling work that all the P3s have been participating in, with the Ukulele Showcase at Howden Park Centre. Our school, along with many others were taking part in a huge ukulele playing session-  playing along to songs that we had all learned over the last few weeks. Despite a few sore fingers, everyone really enjoyed the experience and are keen to continue…

On Wednesday, all the P3s went on another trip – this time to the Glasgow Science Centre. Here, everyone was able to try out lots of different experiments and trials in a fun and exciting way. We also got to watch “Under the Sea 3D” in the i-max movie theatre, which linked nicely with the “Under the Sea” topic we did last term. Then it was learning about different aspects of the International Space Station from forces, to being disorientated, and air pressure in the “Mission Control” workshop – again following on nicely from the recent topic on “Solar System… and beyond”.
