We have the right to play

primary 1 had a great start to the week with our whole school Rights Respecting day, thank you to Miss  Dunn and the RRS group for organising such a great day. We had to show the right to play through dance. One of the favourite playground games is Ghostbusters so we ‘busted’ some moves to the theme tune for the rest of the school!

Our dragon Oz sent us another letter asking us to write sorry cards from Goldilocks to the 3 bears as she was not very nice to them. We each did a card to send to Goldilocks to show her lots of good examples of how to say sorry. We also checked on our bean stalks and lots of them are starting to grow!

In maths we have started to learn about subtraction and also telling the time to o’clock, we liked reading the story “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” By Debi Gliori and we even predicted the ending!
