This week we have continued learning about World War 2. We have learned about the timeline of events which happened up to the war starting and also some of the main events during the war. We have also learned a little about World Leaders during war time and completed a matching activity to consolidate our learning. We listened to Neville Chamberlain making a speech which announced the outbreak of war in 1939 and have written our own speeches. Next week we will record these and listen to them. Finally, we ended the week by learning about Propaganda and we have enjoyed starting our own Propaganda posters.

In Maths, we have learned more about the place value of decimals. Some of us are starting to find this easier and are persevering with our work a lot more. We are continuing to work on our mental maths strategies through Number Talks.
