This week Primary 1 have been helping our sad dragon and trying to find out more about him. We wrote letters to the dragon, asking questions. We looked at how to start a question and what a question mark looks like. Some of the things we wanted to find out were what colour he is, where he lives and if he has any gold! We will let you know if he writes back 🙂

We had lots of fun with Miss Thomson planting beans, we now know that a plant needs soil, water, air and sun to grow. We will keep you posted with how are beans are growing.

Mrs McCann also set us a challenge to work in teams to build a castle for the dragon. We looked at the features of a castle and tried to put them into our own. One group had sand, one group had junk, one group had wooden blocks and the last group had duplo. We all worked really well together and made some fantastic castles, don’t you agree?
