It was nice to see some of you at our book bug event. The children were very excited to receive their bags. They look great and are a great resource for your child.

A massive thank you to you all for helping your child learn their words for the Nativity! We’ve been working really hard at school on our songs and where to stand on stage. Please continue to help your child learn their lines if they have any! A wee rehearsal every night woukd be great! We look forward to getting you all in the Christmas spirit in a couple of weeks! It’s a great show!

Amongst all the excitement, work in the classroom still continues! In Maths P2 are continuing to focus on recognising and writing the numbers to 20 and adding within 20. P1 will continue adding within 10.

Our homes topic will come to an end in the next week or so and a new Festive topic will begin!

The new sounds next week will be g and v. New tricky words will also be sent home. Please help your child learn to read and write the words. The children have been enjoying dictation lessons and writing down words or sentences that they hear in their jotters.
