The Kirkhill Chatter

Kirkhill Nursery and Primary School, Rashierig, Broxburn, West Lothian, EH52 6AW

Our first week

This week  in P4 we have had a good week.

We welcomed 6 new people to Kirkhill from Dechmont.

“It has been fun meeting new people” – Steven

“I have made new friends” – Tia

This week we made our class charter and everyone helped make the display.

We learned about the new behaviour system and the golden club.

It has been an exciting week getting used to the new class and finding out where everything is.

Our PE days will be on a Monday and Tuesday. We will have Miss Docherty on a Thursday for French. Mrs Shankland will take us for RME.

We talked a lot about our feelings and emotions and how we use these.

Our class RRS reps are Lewis and Steven.

We read a book called “If the world were a village of 100 people”. We are going to be looking at this in more detail and it has lots of big numbers in it so we can also use it in our numeracy.

Some thoughts on this week –

“I am glad to have Miss Dunn again” – Zach

“This week I loved maths” – Jack

“We did really fun things” – Alanna

“I liked the writing we did” – Layla

Have a lovely weekend everyone and see you on Monday.

We have the right to an education – Article 28
