We have been very busy in P7W this week. We have started looking at the poem ‘Flannan Isle’ which accompanies our transition novel. We have been identifying similes, metaphors, repetition and word choice within the poem. We have also learned how to annotate a poem and some of us found this tricky. We have discovered that Flannan Isle is a real place and have watched some informative videos about the mystery which surrounds the island.

This week we finished our block of gymnastics in P.E. and are going to be having our own P7 Olympic sessions in the next few weeks.

Next week we are attending our transition days at Broxburn Academy which we are all excited about. We are also excited about the Sports Day.
