Having ‘found their wings’ our butterflies are now out in the wide world doing amazing things.

‘They have gone in the sky.’ –Jessica.

‘I think they have gone to Bulgaria.’ –Jordan.

‘They are going to eat the flowers..’ –Jack.

‘They will lay an egg on the leaf.’ –Daisy.

‘They will just go somewhere.’ -Logan M.

‘They eat the nectar from the flowers.’ -Grace.

We also looked at a snail that was found on the path to the Nursery. It was only a small snail but it was very slimy. We learnt that the snail’s shell is a spiral and that a snail only has one foot. The story of theĀ Caterpillar Shoes also told us that a snail only has one foot, that is why it only needed one shoe.
