This week we had our assembly. This is what we liked about it –

 

I enjoyed seeing my daddy at the assembly – Tiana

I liked seeing my mummy after the assembly – Chloe, Alan

I liked speaking through a microphone – Cadence

I liked standing up on the stage – Lucas

I liked seeing my sisters – Robert

I liked it when my brother gave me a hug at the end. He is the best – Kai

I liked giving my mummy a big cuddle at the end – Mason, Gordon

I liked standing up on stage and saying my words – Teigan

I liked when I was speaking in the microphone – Adele,  Arran M

I liked giving my mummy and daddy a hug at the end – Arran B

 

 

 

This week we have been getting to fill our buckets. The class pupil of the week was Gordon with 9 tokens in his bucket.  A massive well done to Gordon.

“I am happy because I got the prize” – Gordon

Tiana, Teigan and Mason all had 8.  Well done!

 

With Mrs Reid we learned about the Queen.

“It was her birthday yesterday” – Tiana

“She was 90” – Lucas

 

We had another shared start and our carers / parents came in.

“My nanny came in and we played a game of skittles together” – Chloe

“I liked playing the game of skittles with my mummy because it was fun” – Lucas

“I liked it when I played guess who with my daddy” – Teigan

 

In numeracy we have been working on subtraction.

“I like it because we get to sums with our friends” – Cadence

 

 

In science we learned about pushing and pulling.

“If you do a hard push the car will go quick” – Lucas

“If you push the horse slow it will go really slow” – Chloe

 

 

Miss Dunn is so proud of everyone for speaking and singing so well on the stage as it is not an easy thing to do. Well done to all the stars in P1D! 🙂
