This week primary 2 dressed up for Halloween and paraded in front of the school! We wrote an Acrostic poem all about Fireworks, we thought of some fantastic adjectives! We went to mass with Father Paul to celebrate ‘All Saints day’. We have been learning ball skills in P.E with Mrs McMaster. We began singing the songs for our nativity ‘Granpa’s Nativity Story’.
We had a spooky start to our week this week when everyone cam dressed up for Halloween on Monday and we had a Halloween parade.
On Monday afternoon we went over to Linlithgow Primary School to watch a show called ‘Up to Speed’ about a girl and a boy, Jade and Barnaby ,and what it’s like to be the odd one out. The show was very good and made us think about Children’s Rights and how we should treat everyone equally.
On Tuesday we were invited to St Kent’s to watch their amazing production of Les Mis. The show was fantastic and we were delighted to see that Niamh Mullholland and Ciara Fitzsimons had main parts. Their singing was out of this world. Michael Boyle performed with the orchestra. His trumpet playing was excellent. We think we have some budding stars of the future in P7. This show motivated us to work hard in music and drama.
In Literacy we completed our diaries on our journey on the Titanic.
In Maths we used symmetry to complete some tricky Halloween pictures
