RRS – SCIAF

In South Sudan, a generation of children with disabilities are locked out of an education and trapped in a cycle of poverty.  We would like to help these children achieve their right to an education. We can do so if every family could bring in £1 to support these children on the 1st of April.

Many children with disabilities in South Sudan are not able to go to school or, later on, to work and earn a living. They may have no access to support services or hospitals for treatment. They may face stigma and exclusion.

This year £1 = £2

From the 12 February to 11 May, all public donations to our WEE BOX, BIG CHANGE appeal will be doubled by the UK government.

You can learn even more about our WEE BOX, including how parishes and schools make donations with our handy 2021 WEE BOX guide.

Week Beginning 22nd March

Hello everyone! This week in Primary 6 we continued with our Mary Queen of Scots topic- We wrote an argument to discuss what Elizabeth 1st of England should do about Mary? In Maths we continued to find out how Fractions/Decimals and Percentages can be linked. Our favourite challenge this week has been our ‘Building Bridges’ STEM challenge. We studied different types of bridges and checked and tested to see how we could make our bridges stronger. We then tested how much weight our bridge could hold be adding marble weights and using a Newton meter.  We have had a great week in P6.

Welcome Back Everyone!

A big hello from Primary 6. We are so delighted to be back together again at school. We have been busy getting to know each other again after such a long time in lockdown. We have worked so hard at home over the last couple of months and have become Digi- experts!

This week we have had great fun learning  outdoors.

We have been very happy this week to get outside away from our laptops !

We also celebrated Saint Joseph’s Day on Friday.  We would like to say thank you to Father Paul for saying a mass online for us!
