Happy New Year!

Primary 1 have had a great start to the the new year.  We listened to the story of ‘Squirrel’s New Year’s Resolution’  and thought of our own resolutions.  We used different materials and loose parts to create a winter picture.  We developed our understanding of addition by using ten frames and numicon.  We used oil pastels and water resist paints to make a Snowflake picture.  We had the opportunity to use our creativity and problem solving skills to build different structures with the large wooden blocks.  We were very imaginative and worked really well as a team.
