This week has been amazing; we have had such a fun filled week. Our learning this week has had a musical theme every day.
During the afternoons we have had special visitors called Glyn and Chloe from Rookie Rockstars. Over the week they have introduced us to five new songs which all had actions as well. We watched Mr Reed stuff loads of marshmallows into his mouth and then try to sing a song. We also watched Mr Brice and Mrs Telfer rapping out nursery rhymes which was very funny.
We ended our story this week having worked hard to create our own version of ‘The Water Horse’ by Dick King Smith. Through this story we have been learning to use new and exciting vocabulary which will make our story interesting to readers.
We have been learning about plastic ‘nurdles’ and the effect they are having on the beaches and wildlife around our coastlines. This is in preparation of our trip on Monday.
On Friday we spent the morning in our new class getting to know our new teacher and enjoying some fun activities.
Next week are all looking forward to our class visit to Cramond Beach where we will be carrying out our own investigation into plastic ‘nurdles’.
