Euroquiz

Three teams of four P6’s recently took part in the heats for Euroquiz 2025 alongside over 100 other teams across West Lothian! Euroquiz is an annual project open to P6 pupils across Scotland which sees teams working together to answer (tricky!) questions all about Europe. A lot of hard work went into revising for this quiz and everyone should be very proud of their efforts!🌍πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸŒŸπŸ‘

P6 Badminton Festival

P6 really enjoyed taking part in the badminton festival last week alongside other cluster schools! There were lots of different activities set up for us to try which was great fun!🏸

Primary 6

P6 really enjoyed learning about Roman numerals. We discovered that hopscotch was a drill used by Roman soldiers so we decided to make our own!

P6 Trip to Summerlee!

Primary 6 had a fantastic trip to Summerlee last week. We really enjoyed the workshop where we got to dress up in Victorian school uniform and follow the strict Victorian school rules! We also got to go down a mine to experience what it would’ve been like to have worked in these conditions. We all agreed that it must have been very difficult especially with it being so dark and cramped. It was also really interesting getting to look inside different cottages to see how the living conditions and decor have changed over time. The outside loo in the 1800’s and the TV in the 1980’s cottage were big talking points!
