P6 really enjoyed learning about Roman numerals. We discovered that hopscotch was a drill used by Roman soldiers so we decided to make our own!

They’re working very hard on fractions!
P5B have been learning about the Scottish wars of Independence. The class were given the challenge of making a castle with a drawbridge and portcullis using kinex.
Primary 5A have been learning about weapons used during the Scottish Wars of Independence. They used their knowledge to build a replica weapon using k’nex. They showed super teamwork and were successful building their weapons. We had lots of different weapons including war swords, a mace, a long spear and a war dagger.
Primary 6 had the privilege of welcoming in High School pupils to teach badminton yesterday. They played lots of fun games and made great progress in their badminton skills.
Primary 6 have enjoyed learning skills in rhythmic gymnastics in PE. They have learnt to balance and move using a ball, hoop and ribbon and have created short routines.
In HWB, P5 have been researching traditional foods from different parts of the world. The class also designed a celebration meal for Chinese New Year.
P5A enjoyed trying out Minecraft Education today. We used it to further our learning about area and perimeter. The class did a great job teaching Mrs Muir about Minecraft! Thanks team!
