P5A Stem Challenge

P5 showed great skills and team work when completing their STEM challenge – To build a free standing Christmas tree using only paper and tape.
Our finished trees were all very different 🤩🎄
We had a winner for the tallest tree and also the tree that looked most like a Christmas tree.

Primary 5A Science

P5A enjoyed carrying out experiments to find out which substances dissolved in water-they were surprised by some! They were learning to use the words soluble, insoluble, solute, solvent, solution and concentration correctly.

Primary 6 Christmas Party!

Primary 6 had a wonderful time at their Christmas Party this week. They played lots of fun games, ate some party snacks and danced the Dashing White Sergeant!

Retro Gaming in the Den

After an afternoon of coding we finished off by exploring technology from the past. Today we looked at retro gaming on the Nintendo 64. Teamwork and pixelated graphics!

Eco Warriors update

We are so lucky to have our poly tunnel and be able to grow crops all year round. The eco committee have been busy planting some herbs and seeds today. We loved the different smells the herbs created in our poly tunnel! We planted beetroot and lettuce seeds which we will hopefully be able to use in some salads next year.

P5A Enterprise

Another very successful afternoon in P5A yesterday with our last 2 ‘companies’ creating their products for the Christmas Fayre!

P5B

Primary 5B have been creating their products which will be sold at the Christmas Fair

P5A Enterprise

Our P5A enterprise groups have been working so hard planning, budgeting, advertising and producing their own products to sell on their stall at the Christmas Fayre. They showed great team work, creativity and independence when three of our ‘companies’ put together their final products last week. Other companies will complete their products this week.

They are looking fantastic – you’ll need to be quick to snap up a bargain!
