Rainbows!!

RainbowRainbows are traditionally a sign of hope, children all over the country have been drawing rainbows and displaying them in windows.  We love to look for them when out for our daily walk, Mrs Divers has one in her window (although she might have had a little help)

Could you draw a rainbow and put it in your window?

Maybe you could send us a picture?

Welcome back!

We would like to welcome back all our returning children and families. We hope you all had a lovely summer.  We also look forward to meeting all our new children and families over the next few weeks.

The children have been busy on our first week back, getting to know some of our new friends and being engaged in their learning and play experiences.  The children are beginning to pick up the nursery routines again and are looking forward to starting Forest Fun.  We will begin Forest Fun on Monday the 10th of September and we will follow our weekly rota which is in the nursery cloakroom.

We would also like to welcome our new Nursery Practitioner – Miss McAlister who will be taking over the Orange Group as Miss McAlpine takes up her new role as Early Years Officer.

We look forward to starting Big Bed Time Read. Our launch is Friday the 7th of September and more information on this will be with you soon.

Our return to the Woods!

We returned to the woodland last Monday and what a morning we had!

All our new children who joined us at Easter were fantastic and Aaron found us some climbing trees.  After we made sure the trees were safe we worked on our gross motor skills climbing up as high as we could safely, enjoy our video!

Friday snow continues…

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all staying cosy and making the most of the snow now that the blizzards have stopped for the moment at least.❄️

This morning my youngest son and I missed our Caterpillar Music class, the same one we have visit us in nursery because it was cancelled. Alison who runs the classes did a live class on Facebook instead and it was fantastic and meant we didn’t miss out and helped with the cabin fever we are all beginning to experience! If you would like to join in too just search on Facebook (you need an account) for ‘Caterpillar Music Livingston and Edinburgh’ and you should find it on the page. 🐛🎼

Have a lovely weekend and remember to send any photos so we can share them on the blog! Sharings caring after all! 📷
